CORPORATE MEETINGS
Off-site meetings and retreats improve team bonding and collaboration, away from the office distractions. They foster better understanding of non-verbal cues and open communication. A change of scenery can spark new ideas and encourage fresh perspectives.
Woodend Mansion is nestled in a nature sanctuary just 9 miles from downtown DC, away from the hustle and bustle of busy schedules and congested cities.
Woodend is ideal for offsite meetings, department retreats, and team-building activities. Meeting rooms are surrounded by mature trees, sweeping lawns, and filled with natural light, fresh air, and privacy.
Our accessible trail allows everyone to enjoy the tranquility of nature, breathe clean air, and reconnect with each other while listening to birds, spotting butterflies, turtles, and other wildlife living in the sanctuary.

I had to think outside the box and give our attendees a meeting space where they could easily step outside for fresh air. Participants loved having a nature break, instead of just a coffee break. Complimentary Wi-Fi and my choice of food and beverage made our offsite meeting possible.
Accessibility was crucial for our team retreat. At Woodend, our entire group was able to enjoy nature using the accessible trail.
