Access to the venue is available within your contracted hours; however, additional hours can be rented in advance if you need to arrive earlier or extend your event.

The mansion with two large staging rooms, our climate-controlled tent (Apr-Nov) with a covered walkway from the mansion, the surrounding lawns, the Hemlock Grove, and the parking lots near the mansion.

Woodend can accommodate up to 150 people from April to November when our tent is set-up. During the winter months, Woodend Mansion can accommodate an intimate wedding ceremony and reception for up to 50 guests, or just a reception for up to 120 people, or clients may rent a tent from our tent vendor and go up to 150 people.

There are two parking areas near the Mansion for you and your guests: the north parking lot with 20 parking spaces, and the west parking area for approximately 50 cars. Vendors have a separate parking area.

The rental fee includes the use of all ceremony areas, outdoors or indoors.

Our tent can beautifully accommodate your ceremony in the event of inclement weather. A seamless covered walkway links the mansion to the tent. Our approved caterers are experienced in setting up the tent for ceremonies and resetting it for dinner while clients entertain their guests in the mansion during the cocktail hour.

You are welcome to provide your own alcohol at no additional fee. The approved caterer will set up the bar and provide the bartenders, stemware, ice, soft drinks and any necessary items.

Although Woodend Mansion is historic, there are no restrictions on red wine or red food items.

Clients having their wedding ceremony and reception at Woodend may have their dog participate in their outdoor ceremony if they sign a document that explains where, when, and for how long the dog can participate. If the ceremony needs to be held indoors, either in the tent or in the mansion due to inclement weather, the dog may no longer participate or be present.

Approved caterers who are familiar with the venue and committed to abiding by the venue rules ensure the success of your event and with this in mind, we require that you choose one of the approved caterers from our list. They are full-service caterers and offer a variety of price points and cuisines, including kosher certified.

The signed contract and 50 percent of the rental fee secures your date. Final payments are due four months before the event date.

Woodend’s main building is a historic mansion. Accessible parking is available, and the first floor of the building includes an accessible entrance with an automatic door on the north side, and a covered accessible pathway to the terrace and tent. There is no elevator to the second floor.
